I have been involved with St. Mary’s since 2006: first as a parent, second as a school board member, and now as a teacher. I feel blessed to have St. Mary’s in West as a choice in education.
I graduated from Martin High School in Arlington in 1990 and then stayed close to home to obtain my degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington.
My first career was working in forensic science for about 10 years. Along the way,
I have also worked in emergency management, environmental science, clinical toxicology, and even in the auto repair industry. I began teaching in 2008 at West High School and from there taught at Axtell High School until 2011. I returned to teaching here at St. Mary’s in 2015 and I have enjoyed being a part of this great school.
In my spare time, I enjoy running (especially trails), traveling, gardening, learning something new, and spending time with my daughter and dog Lucy.
